With a new album, a David Bowie tribute at the Grammys, an Oscar performance – and a Super Bowl Sunday Performance of the "Star Spangled Banner" looming in the distance – I took the time to review Lady Gaga's current discography. When looking at the body of her work I focus on two main criteria: quality of work as well as each song's cultural significance.
Many of these songs represent cultural milestones. "Telephone" is the most successful female collaboration of all time, "Bad Romance" was MTV's Video of the Year, and "Born This Way" was the first Top 40 hit to reference transgender individuals! While all these songs have become an important part of the pop lexicon, I certainly do have my favorites. Here are the songs from "The Fame," "The Fame Monster," "Born This Way," "ARTPOP," and more ranked!
