It is very difficult to answer the question, who am I. There are many facets of each person that when combined make them who they are. Every single event you have lived through shapes who you are. The importance of who you are is instrumental in creating your future.
Life is a challenge, and not knowing who you are makes it so much worse to handle then it needs to be. If you go through life not knowing and loving who you are then you will forever be miserable.
You are not able to love others if you don't love yourself. This is because you can't give love to others if you don't have it within yourself. I am not saying that you need to be like Gaston from "Beauty and the Beast", but I am saying that you need to learn to appreciate and love yourself. Self-image is something that is difficult to be proud of nowadays, what with society telling you what is or isn't beautiful. But I am here to tell you that what they say isn't true. You are perfect exactly the way that you are.
You can't go through life comparing yourself to other people. You are you, and you are beautiful. No matter what you look like or how you sound you are beautiful. There is only one you, there never has been and never will be another you.
