I’m just going to start this out with this. I used to be the biggest Taylor Swift fan. I could listen to T-Swifty any day of the week, morning, day, and night. But with all the drama that has gone on with her the past few months, I am second guessing my fandom.

Let’s start off with her infamous love life. For those of you who don’t know, it started back in June, when Taylor and Calvin Harris decided to break up. Overall, the breakup was pretty clean, that is until Taylor was caught cuddling up to Tom Hiddleston on the beach just one short week later. After that, Calvin deleted Taylor from all his social media. Taylor responded by doing the same. During Calvin’s heartbreak, Taylor and Hiddleston embarked on adventurous world travels together, eventually returning to Rhode Island: the place where they were first spotted together on the beach. Rumor has it that, now, after just two short months of dating, Hiddleston plans to propose to Swift. The question that this leaves me with is: did Taylor cheat on Calvin? I guess we will find out as their relationship becomes more public.

As if that drama wasn’t enough, Taylor also has been sucked into the mess with Kim and Kanye. Though you have probably heard about it by now, the issue that started back in February may result in a lawsuit. Prior to Kanye’s release of his new song “Famous,” he contacts Swift regarding some questionable lyrics. During the conversation, Taylor acts chill about the words, saying that it was really nice of him to ask her permission. After the song was released, Taylor posts on Instagram, stating that Kanye never asked her about referring to her as the five letter word. She also expressed frustration and anger at Kanye as he claimed to be her ticket to fame, which Swift strongly contradicted. Following that, Kim posts the private conversation that she secretly recorded for the public to see. Kim also leads a movement in throwing shade at Swift using snake emojis. Swift is strongly considering filing a lawsuit against Kardashian: one that Swift will surely win. Kim continues to throw Taylor under the bus publicly in attempts to protect her husband, Kanye.

From boyfriends to bad situations, Swift is no longer the good, small town girl we used to know. Though she has inspiring beats and a keen fashion sense, Swift’s reputation is quickly changing as she gets sucked into celebrity drama.
