In today's pop culture, Kanye West rules the rap world as one of the most down-to-earth people we have seen in years. His humility shines through some of his greatest works including, "I am a God." So, it came as a shock to everyone, when Mr. West announced at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, that he intends to run for President of the United States in 2020. What would the world be like if Kanye West were president? Let me enlighten you.
One of Kanye's first acts of presidency would be to make Yeezus the national clothing brand. Everyone would be in head-to-toe Yeezus apparel and would love it. Yes, it may be expensive, but at least it’s going towards something great -- our style and Mr. West's ego.
The White House would also undergo a few changes to accommodate his, and his family's, lifestyle because the Kardashians would become the first family. How great would that be? A few hundred more mirrors would need to be placed sporadically around the house, along with photographers to take "candid" photos of Kim and the rest of the Kardashian clan. And of course, a large painting of a compass over North's bed, so she can just look up and remember her name. And the most important piece of art would be the sculpture of Kanye and pregnant Kim placed in the Oval Office.
We would also never be in fear of listening to boring or pointless speeches, instead we would be inspired daily by his use of the word "bruh" to assure us that we are one family under Yeezus. Kanye's style of speaking aloud is different, but would make an impact as President because he has a way of relating to the kids and giving kids credit because kids are the future, as stated a few hundred times by Mr. West.
Another improvement that would come with Mr. West's election into presidency would be new currency. Picture Kanye's smiling face on every single dollar bill, and all different angled Kim Kardashian selfies from Instagram all over the $5 and $10 bills. And then baby North can be on the quarter, since she is a child and small. Some people don't like change, but this is super progressive and would totally change the whole game of money.
