Ladies and gentleman, today is the day that Kanye West finally joined Instagram. Half of you are probably thinking, why do I care that Kanye West joined Instagram? And the other half of you are probably thinking, wow! I wonder what his first post will be! On Twitter, Kanye is notorious for being an asshole, nonsense-preaching, god-like musician, but what will he be on Instagram? Here are my thoughts on what the future holds on Mr. West's newest social media platform.
1. Showing off the West Family
So neither Kim or Kanye have officially released a family picture featuring Saint West. But now that he's on Instagram, we can all assume that one will be on our feed within days. The family portrait will most likely have a caption about how holy the West family is, and how they are god-like in every way shape and form.
2. The Saint Pablo Tour
Unless you have been stuck under a rock for the past three and a half weeks, you have most likely heard someone talk about Kanye's latest concert tour. Unfortunately, if you were at the show that I attended in Indianapolis, it sucked. But, from what I have heard, other cities have been blown away. The caption will probably be something about how his tour is an absolute god-dream — even though he didn't even sing Ultra Light Beam — or some variation of lyrics from the album paired with how grateful he is to be doing what he loves all around the world.
3. His creative expertise
During the Saint Pablo concert in Indianapolis that I previously mentioned sucked, Kanye went on a 30-minute rampage about his creative expertise, how his art is what he lives for and what he was born to create. The caption would probably be something along the lines of, "This right here, this is art. Everything I create is art. I see art, I hear art, I am art."
4. Kim Kardashian's Ass
Kanye probably wakes up every morning and thanks god (aka himself) that he tapped (and maybe even taped if you know what I mean, heh) Kim Kardashian and put a ring on her finger. He uses every advantage to take pride on his talented wife, so we can assume that he will utilize Instagram as a social media shrine for Kim. Caption: "ass, ass, ass, ass"
5. *Insert Kanye West statement that will anger other musicians here*
When does Kanye not have beef with someone? We can only hope that he posts all his recorded conversations with fellow celebrities and speeches regarding their talent on his Insta.
Well Kanye, whatever you do decide to post, we all hope that it is as thoroughly entertaining as your Twitter feed, and that you continue to live up to our expectations.
