I Just Want To Travel

I live for adventuring, and these are only a few of the destinations on my bucket list.

I Just Want To Travel

I love traveling any chance I have. I am always up for adventures and going anywhere whenever the opportunity arises. I have to out of the country many times, but only to Mexico. This is one of my favorite places to travel, but there are many places I would still like to visit.

1. Paris

I mean, who wouldn't want to travel to Paris? It's the called the City of Lights, which is one thing that draws visitors every year. There are also many cafes to visit, as well as art museums, old churches and shopping.

2. London

I've had a couple friends travel here and looking at all their photos made me so jealous. London has so much to see, from the Tower of London to hidden cafes or outrageous clubs.

3. Bora Bora

I've traveled to Mexican resorts many times, so I've seen the clear water and sandy beaches. I still would love to go to Bora Bora because it's a new place with sky high volcanoes and lush jungles. This place is not cheap, but it would be worth going to this enchanting place to spend time in paradise soaking up the sun.

4. Rome

I don't know much about this place, but it would be cool to cross it off my bucket list. It is known as the Eternal City and most visitors think it's a magical city.

5. Italy

Pasta is my favorite food, so it would be really cool to travel to a place that Italian food originated from. I would love to be able find out what actual Italian food tastes like instead of just how American restaurants prepare it. There's also so much else to see there.

6. Hawaii

There are so many beautiful places to visit in Hawaii. This one is located in the United States, so it would be the easiest one to travel to, but it is so expensive. I love hiking, and there are so many waterfalls and trails to explore.

7. Canada

This is probably the last one on my bucket list, but it would still be cool to go here since it is part of North America. I went to Detroit, Michigan and got to see Canada's skyline across the bridge, but I never actually stepped foot on Canadian land. I love acting like a tourist and seeing new things, so I know I would find something interesting here.

8. Great Barrier Reef

I've been snorkeling in the deep sea in Mexico, and I really enjoyed looking at all the oceans sea creatures. I was able to see jelly fish, sea turtles and many fish. It would be really cool to go snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef because it is a new place to snorkel and see sea life I have never seen before. I love swimming and being out in the open water, so this is one place I would really like to swim and look at fish.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
