A Letter To My Future Husband
Sarah Kathleen

You may be someone I have never met, or you could be the guy who’s been around in my life for years. Just know for me to marry you, I am so madly in love with you. I have never been one to trust a guy in my life. I have been stomped on, abused, and treated terribly. But you must have never done any of these things to me. You had to have seen me at my worst and decided that you love me no matter how stressed out I may get, how crazy I may feel, and the bad attitudes I sometimes can get. But you have also seen how crazy in love I am with you. You have seen me stick by your side no matter what. You’ve seen me defend you. You know I will never leave.

It’s crazy to me to think, that in the next few years, I am going to walk down the aisle and be looking at my best friend, the person I love so much, and the person I will be sharing the best experiences of my life with. The man who will be taking care of me when I am having our children, the man who I will look outside and see grilling out for our family, the man who I will fall asleep next to every single night, and wake up next to every single day for the rest of my life.

I know our wedding will be the most magical, and amazing day of our lives. As you will learn, I am not a girl who will be getting married in a church. Our wedding will include, boots, shotgunning beers, an all night bonfire party, and dancing the night away with all the people we love and care about. It will be a party for the books.

You will have discovered I have many flaws. I have battled anxiety and depression every since I was young, but I have worked hard at it to keep it under control. I can be very stubborn, as I am sure you VERY well know. I may not always be the most cheerful person when I wake up in the morning, so ignore my eye rolls and annoyance at the world until after I have had my coffee. You will never after to worry about cheating on you or stealing anything from you. Well, I may steal your food but I’ll apologize ahead of time for that.

I do not know what difficulties in life we will face together, but with me, you will never have to face anything every alone. I promise you I will be there to hold you when you cry, when you feel like giving up, to put a smile on your face every single day, to love you every bit of my being. I promise you I will kiss you everyday with the same passion I did the moment we say I Do. I promise to be your best friend. I promise you I will be the best mother to our children that I can possibly ever be. I promise I will love you every day until my very last breath.

With certainty that our future is going to be amazing,

Your Future Wife

P.S. I may bring a new dog home every week too, but I am not sorry about that one…

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
