Well, Billy Taylor is the new Nicholas Sparks. This is a love story that is better than The Notebook. This love story comes with lessons that apply to everyone whether they are in a relationship or not.

From the minute I picked up the book, I wondered if Ethan and August would end up together. As I got deeper into the book I was sitting on the edge of my seat wondering how Billy Taylor would pull these two love birds out of the plot twists that occur.

I will admit, I cried at various points in this twisted love story. Whether you just went through a break-up or have been single for three years, this is the book for you. This book makes you realize that true love does exist. It is out there. True love will find us when we are ready for it.

August Bishop has wanted to be an actress since she was a little girl.

Ethan Knight has a natural ability to pull off any magic trick, just check your shoe if you don't believe me.

August and Ethan were friends since August moved across the street from Ethan. His 6th birthday party was, of course a magic theme. After August spilled juice on him, they became best friends. Nothing was able to separate them. They stood by each other's side no matter what the circumstance. Whether it was August getting punched in the face by a rude male or when Ethan made a tape of himself punching the rude male in the face disappear nothing comes between them.

August gets a shot at acting in England and leaves Ethan and the small town life behind. Before August leaves for England, she realizes how much she loves Ethan. August continues to follow her acting dreams when Ethan surprises her in England while she is being filmed for the movie. Cute right? Plot twist. He's not there for August- He's there for the smoking hot star actress August is working with.

August, now heart broken and stuck listening to the love of her life have sex with the smoking hot actress in the hotel room next to hers has reached a dead end. She does what any girl today does and over thinks herself into a bad situation. She pictures them getting married and having kids together.

On August's birthday Ethan buys her an apartment in New York City, a fancy new car, and new work out clothes to boot! Can he be any more perfect? But remember- he's dating a smoking hot actress that isn't August.

Plot twist- Ethan and smoking hot actress break up. Every time August plans on telling Ethan she loves him, an unseen disturbance stops her from doing so, even though they live together.

Every time someone asks August what her and Ethan are, she replies "We're just friends." while secretly hoping to be something more.

When Ethan decides to try a dangerous magic trick August is left crying on national television on Christmas Eve unsure of what will happen.

Will Ethan pull off the magic trick?

Will August profess her love before it's too late?

Will Ethan feel the same way?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
