People love conspiracy theories, even if you don't believe in them they can be very enjoyable just to read and to see what others think. There are so many conspiracy theories out there, the most recent one is about Jeffrey Epstein's death.
Epstein died in prison from an apparent suicide, but others believe that he was murdered to keep his mouth shut because he knew things about certain powerful people. Epstein had a lot of money but little is know how he made that money, he is the son of a homemaker and gardener.
He dropped out of college in the 1970s, he then became a teacher at Manhattan's prestigious Dalton School. He left — reportedly due to poor performance — but then joined the investment bank Bear Stearns, where he made partner in just four years, According to New York Magazine.
He then went out on his own in the 1980s he met Leslie Wexner, the billionaire founder of L Brands, the parent company of Victoria's Secret. He began managing Wexner's finances.
The thing is Wexner was the only known client of Epstein, but somehow he managed to bank back more than $500 million according to the New York Times. He also had his private own island, and one of the biggest homes in Manhattan.
That is one of the conspiracy theories, how did Epstein get so rich from one client? no one knows, he was a mystery on wall street just like his money, not one person there could say that they traded with him. So how did all this money come to be?
Most think he was blackmailing some very rich high profile people, these people could be other businessmen, politicians, or any famous people that are rich and have scandals that follow them everywhere, the blackmail could include but not limited to, videotapes of certain people having sex with underage girls/boys or drug addiction, Or he could have run a money-laundering operation.
Epstein has been accused of blackmail before, in 2015 lawsuit, Virginia Roberts Giuffre said that "Epstein forced her to have sex with men and then "debriefed her" so he could get "intimate and potentially embarrassing information" for blackmail purposes".
So could blackmail be the way he made a lot of his money? He was friends with some very powerful people, including some former presidents, and current politicians.
He had many allegations against him, from sexual assault to using girls to recruit other girls for abuse to plans to create a baby farm, and this could be one of the reasons why people are looking for any kind of theories because all these allegations went unnoticed for so long.
And just like any other conspiracies, it's not hard to believe that there's something nefarious behind these facts, such as a secret government program or plot from some powerful people that were tired of being blackmailed.
We might find out at some point, or this will be one of those stories that will stay a conspiracy.
