Happiness, joy, and pleasure are just a few words that can describe the things I'm getting ready describe. If you are close to me and you know I'm feeling down, just bring up one of the things on this list and my whole mood will make a one-hundred-and-eighty degree turn.
1. Blankets
In my opinion, I don't think you could ever have enough blankets. There are so many different kinds, you can get a knit blanket, a fuzzy blanket, a silky blanket or even blankets with built in arms. The mood that you're in can affect the type of blanket you choose to snuggle with. I personally think its good to have variety, and if you have enough, you can put a blanket in every room so you can be prepared for whenever you need to get warm or relax.
2. Sunglasses
The feelings I have towards sunglasses are similar to the feelings I have with blankets. They make it so you are able to see but not have to squint and get a headache. Have have about ten pairs of sunglasses and still feel that I don't have enough. I think that I need to have two pairs in the car, because I always end up wearing one or both pairs inside and leaving them there, I need at least three pairs in the house, and need some for when I lose or break the others (which happens a lot).
3. Chapstick
Chapstick is a necessity, especially when that fall weather comes around and the cool dry air ends up drying out your lips. The aftereffect of putting chapstick on is miraculous, and your lips go from dry and crusty to soft and smooth.
4. Disney
I know some people aren't huge fans of Disney movies, but they make me the happiest girl alive! There's something special about watching an old Disney movie that I haven't seen in a while and reminiscing on the simpler times.
5. Pets
Pets are blessings from God. I honestly think I would be depressed if I didn't have a cat or dog to come home to. My favorite part of the day is coming home after a long day, putting my pajamas on to go relax and my cat is excited to see me and snuggles up with me. It makes my heart melt every time.
6. Fresh sheets
You can't tell me that you've gotten into a bed with fresh sheets and didn't feel like a fresh new person. It's similar to when you have had a long day standing out in the heat, mowing the grass, or swimming in the ocean and then you take a shower and get out and feel the sensations of cleanliness and freshness. That is what happiness feels like.
7. Jesus
I think its pretty self explanatory why Jesus makes me happy.
Those were just a few of the things that make me happy and I thank God for those few simple things because without them I don't know where I would be.
