The 7 Performances You Must Check Out At Druid City Music Hall This Year

The 7 Performances You Must Check Out At Druid City Music Hall This Year

How many people can say that their school has an awesome new music venue on campus? Located on the Tuscaloosa Strip, at 1307 University Boulevard, is Druid City Music Hall, which recently took over Jupiter Bar. This spring, Druid City's calendar is filled with awesome events, performers and more. They offer a variety of performances, all representing a different type of music genre. This semester you can head over to Druid City to listen to country, rock, rap and more. Here are the upcoming performances for the spring 2016 semester.

January

January 29: Frank Foster (country) will be playing for a cost of only $20 and better yet, all ages can attend. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30.

February

February 2: Yonder Mountain String Band (alternative rock) comes on at 8 p.m., doors open at 7:00. Tickets cost $24 and all ages can attend. A bluegrass band called Trout Steak Revival will be opening for them.


February 23: O.A.R., the popular alternative rock band will be playing for only $25.50, and The Hunts will be opening for them. The show begins at 8:30 p.m., doors open at 7:30 and all ages are welcome. For this show, "ticketfast" delivery method is suggested.

March

March 2: Kevin Gates will be performing with Young Greatness and OG Bobbie Black for ticket prices ranging from $25-50. Premium tickets will be offered for the higher price, which includes early entry into Druid City and standing room only access. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., show begins at 8:30.

March 9: JJ Grey & Mofro are coming to town for those pop music-loving people out there. Tickets cost $25 for all ages. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30, so be sure to get your tickets!

April

April 3: An Evening with Shovels and Rope (folk) will be playing in Ttown on a Sunday night for a low cost of $25. The doors open at 7:30 p.m., show starts at 8:30.

April 5: Galactic will be playing at Druid City for only $20. They are a funk and jazz band from New Orleans, Louisiana, so be sure to see them before the semester ends! Doors open at 7:00 p.m., show starts at 8:00.
