The iPhone 6S Is Here

Another year, another iPhone. The iPhone 6s is finally here. What can we expect from this new updated iPhone? Here are some new features:

3D Touch:

The new iPhone has a screen that detects different degrees of pressure from touch. When you touch the screen harder than a tap, it will bring you to shortcuts. The phone sends off vibrations to let you know that you've pushed hard enough. If you click on the left side of the screen while another app is open, it will show you a menu of other applications.

Live Photos:

This new feature provides a new kind of photo experience. Pictures are combined with a 3 second video. By holding your finger on the screen, you can make the picture come to life.

New Camera:

This is usually the main selling point of a new iPhone. Each iPhone comes with an updated camera that has better quality due to more megapixels. The back camera is a 12 megapixel while the front camera is a 5 megapixel.

Siri:

When your phone is locked (without being plugged into a charging source) you can say, "Hey Siri" and the feature will come alive and be ready to assist you.

These new features make for a new and improved iPhone. However, there are some drawbacks. The iPhone 6s is significantly heavier than the 6 and there still has been no improvement in battery life. It's up to you to decide: is it worth it?
