Why have insecurities eaten up all our females? You might want to take a look at this…

Have you ever wonder why females are so insecure about themselves? Why most of them have such low self-esteem? Well, loving yourself is not so easy. For most girls, they look at themselves in the mirror hating themselves wondering why they look the way they do. We were all raised learning how to love ourselves first before anyone else, but once someone finds our weakness we tend to shut down. Now, you might be wondering what I mean by that. Here, let me break everything down for you.

Celebrities and TV commercials have become one of the reasons why many girls feel so insecure about themselves. We look at all these celebrities, for example, Kylie Jenner, thinking they have really good bodies when in reality most of them have had plastic surgeries, but that doesn’t keep us from looking away knowing that they have so much more affectionate attention by people. In commercials, there are all these models that look perfect, but we look down upon ourselves wondering why that isn’t us, right? We think we are too fat, ugly, skinny, discombobulated, whatever it may be. This is where all our insecurities start building up like Lego blocks, one on top of the other until it all falls down.

What’s another good reason why female’s feel so insecure? Hmm…oh right! GUYS! When it comes to the guy we like or who we are with, we see the way they talk about other girls or how and why they find them attractive. Most of the time it is because they have a body like Beyoncé, or whoever. Although, she does have a nice figure, but that is not my point I’m trying to make. Sometimes, all this pressure trying to impress a guy can really hurt you, you might start going on a diet or working out crazy. Who knows, you might even be thinking about getting a plastic surgery which is even worse. Men also need to understand that they're not always going to get a girl that matches their standard look, this isn’t Burger King where you can “have it your way.” This is reality.

This wasn’t supposed to be anything about me ranting off about just anything. I’ve decided to make this issue more aware of by many people. I have seen this going on for too long and just seeing all these girl’s struggling and hating themselves, it honestly hurts. It is painful to even think what can even go through this girls’ minds. Normally, I don’t have biased talks, I know males go through this too by females, but from a girls’ perspective, I think more females go through this each year which is another reason why us females can be so sensitive and emotional. Let me know what you guys think about this issue after reading this short article. Many people have different views, so I would like to know what you guys think. What are some of your thoughts, would you agree or disagree with me and why?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
