If there is anything I love more than bargain shopping then it would be bargain shopping. I had been looking for inexpensive lipsticks for awhile. Not to put anyone down who uses Mac lipsticks, but my wallet can't always afford Mac. So then my search began, I began using Wet-n-Wild, which cost $2.99 and then I saw a girl in my class one day with an amazing lip color, and I just had to buy it. Ever since that day, I have been hooked. These lipsticks do cost a bit more but they are great. Literally days later, I made my way to Ulta and began looking for some new lipstick colors. It is hard to narrow down my favorites but I will give you my top most used lip colors.

1. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, Copenhagen, $6.00

This was one of the first lip cream products I have ever bought from the NYX collection and I love it! When it is first applied it, it feels more like a lip gloss but when the color sets, it dries with a matte-finished look. The color reminds me of a purplish-red but not too dark. Before I purchased this product I was using Sugarplum Fairy from Wet-n-Wild which isn't a bad lipstick either since the colors are so similar between the two products.

2. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, Transylvania, $6.00

I couldn't mention Copenhagen without mentioning this one. They look very similar but this is a bit darker and has more of a deep burgundy color. I also tend to find myself wearing this one a lot as well and is perfect for the fall and winter seasons. Personally, I wear this color year-round and it pretty much goes with almost everything.

3. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Cannes $6.00

Now, I couldn't leave the store without getting some kind of nude color. I don't tend to wear this one as much as the others because this color tends to give me more of a peachy color versus a nude color. It's still a great color especially for the spring and summer if you want some soft color on your lips without being over the top.

4. NYX Matte Lipstick, Aria, $6.00

I purchased this lipstick at a different time than the other three lip creams. I actually got this a Target. They didn't have as large of a variety as Ulta but I wanted to try the lipstick versus the cream. This particular lipstick is a violet color and is an amazing spring and summer color as well. One thing I have noticed about these lipsticks is that they are pigmented and you do not need to put a whole lot on your lips.

5. NYX Matte Lipstick, Up the Bass, $6.00

Last but not least, this is my most recent purchase and I will say it is different. I like it but if you tend to stick to nudes and reds or whatever color you prefer, definitely stick to what you know! This one does have a light purple hue to it. If there are any of you that have Colourpop's (stay tuned) Kapow, then this is basically the same color.
