"No one is born hating another person because of the color of their skin, or their background, or their religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."
That quote was by the late Nelson Mandela and it applies to what is going on today.
In Charlottesville Virginia, a march which was lead by a group of white supremacists, Neo-Nazis, the KKK, and what is called the alt-right all marched with torches in their hands chanting many things some of which are very unsettling. One of them even ran some counter protesters over with a car resulting in one person dead and multiple people injured.
If you are looking for an article that slams the political parties, or any member of the government then you should stop reading this article because that is not that this will be focused on.
Instead, I want to talk about the children, because I have seen some photos in the past of kids wearing hoods like the KKK its really heartbreaking to see those kids being taught to hate others because of their skin color, their religion, their sexuality, etc. Most of those kids aren't even in school yet and yet they are already being brainwashed into believing that anyone who isn't a white person is lesser than them, and that is really sad.
I always wonder those people that are marching what lead them to think that way, were they raised that way, did they get involved with certain people, is it because of their religion, are they going to a church like the Westboro Baptist Church, there could be many reasons but sometimes we don't know what is going on behind closed doors.
We need to teach the children to be kind to everyone regardless of who they are, they always say actions speak louder than words, so everything you do they see, they know, they can copy things that they hear or see children are like sponges they absorb information quickly!
To all the parents and future parents that are reading this we need to teach our kids to love everyone no matter what, be kind to people, be good people, teach your kids about history so them maybe they don't end up repeating it, but instead use what they learned to change the world for the better.
