We all come from somewhere, everybody has a hometown. Although you may not like it, it is where you come from. It is important to acknowledge where you came from because it shapes who you are. Where I grew up is not spectacular by any means, but I loved it because it made me who I am today. I have experienced 18 years in Tustin, California now and I would not have it any other way. From going to Tustin Lanes to the Marketplace on weekends, there is no place I rather live. I have been blessed. A lot of people nowadays do not recognize what their city has done for them and how it has influenced them and how you should represent where you came from.

Your city has given you a school to go to, friends, sports, and memories that will last a lifetime. Every place you went is a memory. Not all memories are good, but regardless, they made you into who you are today. Not only should you represent your city, but you should represent the sports teams in your area and famous people who have come from your area. For me, professional sports are about different areas and the areas that you unite with and even the types of people that you unite with.

Being 20 minutes from Anaheim, I support the Anaheim Ducks and Anaheim (No we are not LA) Angels. I have always supported them because it is where I am from and I love to see when triumph is brought to our area. Sports are a great way to group people from the same area together to support a common cause. It gets people together more than it separates them. Even if I move out of Tustin I will always support where I came from.
