If you give a girl a best friend, she's going to take a million pictures with her bestie. She'll upload them to Instagram, but only after a 15 minute minimum of picking the perfect filter and caption. When she posts it to Instagram, she'll probably tag said bestie and share it on Twitter and Facebook for the world to see. When the day is over, she'll check to see how many likes she got. Then she'll proceed to tell the group message the exact number of likes she received, how she feels about it, and then tell everyone to go like it (just in case they already haven't).
If you give a girl a best friend, they'll talk about food ALL. THE. TIME. When they talk about food, they'll get super hungry and want to go out to eat. When they go out to eat, they'll take forever to decide where to go. But when they do, it'll probably be Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, or something of the sort. Who are we kidding? It'll definitely be Taco Bell. When they get to their destination, they'll be the loudest people in the joint-- laughing and giggling about all of the latest happenings in their social group. Eventually they'll have to leave, either because they're too full or because they got major side eye the entire meal. They'll insist the side eye was out of jealousy, but they both know they were a little loud and possibly annoying (to anyone but the other of course!). Nonetheless, it'll be another great day in the book of friendship.
If you give a girl a best friend, they'll probably share a closet. And when one of them doesn't posses the article most necessary to complete their bomb outfit, they'll drive to the mall. And on their way to the mall, they'll scream-sing every song imaginable. They'll dance in the car, waving to passersby and serenading them with smiles on their faces and giggles in the air.
When they finally get to the mall, they will go into every store- even if it doesn't sell clothing. They'll break a sweat browsing for hours in search of the one perfect item, and end up buying much more than just one thing. Because whats the fun in just window shopping? At the end of their trip, they'll plop down in the car ready for a well deserved nap when they get home. They'll make plans for that night all the way home, concluding that they'll just text each other later because they're "just too tired to think right now."
If you give a girl a best friend, they'll always be together. So much as to cause concern when they're apart. You can catch them at Starbucks together, at the gym together, walking to class together...you get where I'm going with this.
They've aligned their schedules so that they see each other on campus daily, and their entire day is thrown off without contact of some form. When they are apart, they're texting each other a play by play of whats happening to them in that very moment, and they hold it in the utmost importance.
If you give a girl a best friend, you've given her a life long soulmate. The two define the true meaning of friendship and unconditional love, and they can't quite picture life without the other.
