Virginia has so many different colleges. They are diverse in their own different ways kind of like dog breeds are different in their own way. So below are Virginia universities as dog breeds.
1) University of Virginia: Labrador
UVA is kind of the elite, and so are labs, they are also the most popular dog breed in the United States. They are also very social, kind of like the drunk frat boys that go there.
2) University of Richmond: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
One word: entitled.
3) James Madison University
Hmmm no brainer, a bulldog is their mascot and they are honestly kinda cute, need I say more?
4) Virginia Tech: Border Collie
These are notorious farm dogs, and most go to Virginia Tech to major in grass or milking cows (joking.) But agriculture is their main thing and these dogs kinda love to roam around and be bossy.
5) Virginia Commonwealth University: Dalmatian
VCU students are usually ridiculously polite and so are Dalmatians. Also they are very social as puppies kind of like the freshman who don't sit still. But they also have spots all over them and honestly everyone at VCU has their own style, especially the art students.
6) Longwood University: Mutt
Honestly, Longwood is kind of in the middle of nowhere and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Mutts remind me of Longwood students because you sorta feel for them but they are also sort of annoying. You'll usually find them in the boondox somewhere.
7) College of William & Mary: Golden Retriever
These are great dogs, but like William & Mary students they are eager to please.
8)Radford University: Beagle
Radford is an okay school, but the students get easily distracted from all the partying they do mainly because what else is there to do? Beagles are great dogs but they don't have the best attention span.
9) George Mason University: Doberman
The students at GMU are slightly intense, especially about politics. Dobermans tend to be an intense dog breed but can also be really good socializers.
10) Old Dominion University: Mastiff
ODU students are really laid back unless you mess with them, and also they sometimes may need a little motivation to learn new things, like the mastiff who are pretty lazy pups.
So, now you know where you will be placed as a student and dog lover.
