So what is it that's stopping you? Time? Money? The fear of being hurt? Do yourself a favor and prioritize. Forget every external factor, and put yourself first. Just do it.
There is no such thing as good timing; there will always be that one tiny little thing, no matter how minuscule, that you will use as an excuse to keep you from starting. Whether it be that paycheck you’re waiting on, or a fear to face what scares you most -- let it go. If not now, when?
In this exact moment, you are the youngest that you will ever be. Do not waste another millisecond of your life pushing off the things that matter to you. Value yourself and value your time. One day you will be old and gray and THEN you will actually have an excuse as to why you can't go jump thousands of feet from an airplane in the sky or why you can't afford to blow all of your money on concert tickets or a girls night out. This moment is precious -- treat it as such.
You will be old and you will look back on all the moments that you could have started. One day you will be married and you'll have a family and a real-person job and a million other obligations to tend to. One day you will have bills to pay and meetings to make. One day you will look back and desperately wish that you did all of the things that you put off when you were young and capable. Don't let your life pass you by. Life does not wait for anyone.
So, put yourself out there and take risks and fall in love with moments, with people, with yourself. Quit the job that sucks the life out of you and conquer your fears and travel the world. Be present. Seek adventures that open your mind and check every little item off of the bucket list of your life. Fill your time with the things that matter to you. Live in this very moment.
There is no time like the present to be the person you've always wanted to be or to do the things that you've always wanted to do. Go seize this moment; time is ticking!
