Being someone who has lived near the city of Chicago all of her life, one thing that will never change is my love and support for our outrageously awesome sports teams. Every game you go to contains a certain thrill that I will not be able to match at any other sports team event, no matter where I live.
I have shuffled between the Cubs and Sox teams throughout my life, the Bears will always be a football team close to home but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever change my love for the Chicago Blackhawks. This past series has only proved that they refuse to stop pushing for a win and to bring back the glorious Stanley Cup.
Every game I go to whether we win or lose is a treasure. The energy and culture throughout the Madhouse on Madison is like nothing you will experience in your life. The people are welcoming and just want one thing: a win. The noise and adrenaline to follow after Jonathon Towes, Brandon Saad, Patrick Kane, or any other player score a goal is unparalleled to any excitement I have ever felt pulse through my body.

The goal is there and everyone wants one thing: a win. Another good game to go to, another experience to tell our friends and family, another victory to brag to Detroit fans about.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, we can send Tampa back home to their hating fans and even worse stadium staff. Remember when they would not sell Chicago residents’ tickets to the Stanley Cup payoffs? I do.
