If the Blackhawks win the cup...

Being someone who has lived near the city of Chicago all of her life, one thing that will never change is my love and support for our outrageously awesome sports teams. Every game you go to contains a certain thrill that I will not be able to match at any other sports team event, no matter where I live.

I have shuffled between the Cubs and Sox teams throughout my life, the Bears will always be a football team close to home but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever change my love for the Chicago Blackhawks. This past series has only proved that they refuse to stop pushing for a win and to bring back the glorious Stanley Cup.

Every game I go to whether we win or lose is a treasure. The energy and culture throughout the Madhouse on Madison is like nothing you will experience in your life. The people are welcoming and just want one thing: a win. The noise and adrenaline to follow after Jonathon Towes, Brandon Saad, Patrick Kane, or any other player score a goal is unparalleled to any excitement I have ever felt pulse through my body.

Chelsea Dagger rings through our ears and we can't help but dance and scream

Blackhawk fans go crazy over some exhilarating hockey games. Our sense of community

The goal is there and everyone wants one thing: a win. Another good game to go to, another experience to tell our friends and family, another victory to brag to Detroit fans about.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, it is kind of like giving a mouse a cookie. Only great and exhilarating things will happen.

If the Blackhawks win the cup,Chicagoins and fans alike will lose their minds over another victory.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, Coach Joel Quennville will have a reason to smile with his fantastic mustache and yet another victorious season of coaching under his belt.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, the Madhouse on Madison will go crazy, and all the team supporters will celebrate together in an epic craziness

If the Blackhawks win the cup, the city of Chicago will host a massive parade. People will come from all over to watch a Madison Avenue spectacle.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, every Hawk’s player’s dreams will come true. Another victory under their belts.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, we can send Tampa back home to their hating fans and even worse stadium staff. Remember when they would not sell Chicago residents’ tickets to the Stanley Cup payoffs? I do.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, Chicago has another reason to say we are a great city that has even better sports teams.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, you will have no other feeling but elation once you hear Chelsea Dagger.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, my dad might pop multiple blood vessels. Seriously, I have never heard the man scream so much in his life.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, people will come together and celebrate. Strangers will hug each other throughout this joyous occasion while watching their combined dreams come true.

If the Blackhawks win the cup, players and fans will come back for more with the next season to come.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
