I'm sure if you have any form of social media, you've seen girls posting their abs they got in only two weeks. Since the quarantine began, I've been trying to get back into working out since I put on a few pounds in college. I figured since we all are stuck at home anyways, this would be the perfect time to try out an actual challenge. Instead of doing the two week ab workout by Chloe Ting, I decided to do her 25 day ab and booty workout so I could target more areas of my body.
I am not finished yet, but I haven't missed a day even though there were times I didn't feel motivated at all. Chloe Ting makes it really easy to find which videos to watch on which day, so I liked the organization of it all. Some days there were two videos, other days there were four. And let me warn you: you will be sore. But, I think feeling sore makes you realize that your body might actually be changing.
I do want to point out that besides just working out, I also tried to count my calories. I knew that working out wouldn't do any good if I didn't back it up with a clean diet. I wasn't starving myself or doing any crazy diets, but I was making sure I wasn't overeating or snacking too much.
Of course, I'm not finished with the program yet but I do plan on sharing my photo results once I am. I highly suggest that anyone who is stuck in their house right now try one of her programs out, because I feel much better already. The first few days are the worst: I couldn't even finish or properly do some of the movements. Fortunately, after the first days, everything starts to become easier and that's an easy way to tell I am getting stronger.
What you do with this lockdown is up to you, but I think getting fit is one of the best options. We often don't focus on our bodies when we're stressed out with school or work, so this is the perfect time to start.
