1. Realization you need to workout.
Maybe you feel the need to do something good for your health, or you spent too long looking at models on Instagram, or you ate your weight in mac and cheese, or maybe you're panicking at the fact you need to wear a bathing suit in under 48 hours. Whatever the situation, you realize you need to get active, like yesterday.
2. Procrastination.
You want to work out, but there are just so many other important things to do. For example, clean your room, finish a season of your current obsession on Netflix, bond with your dog, reorganize your closet and call your grandma.
3. Fitspo.
Alright, enough distractions. You decide the time is now. What better way to start than sitting on Pinterest or Instagram for an hour to get the extra motivation that is crucial to you succeeding in your workout
4. The ultimate playlist.
You decide to create the most epic of epic workout playlists. It will take a keen ear and a lot of patience to get the perfect mix of music to enhance your workout.
5. Choosing your workout and your outfit.
These are incredibly difficult decisions. Should you go for a run outside, go to the gym, take yoga, cycle? Then depending on what you choose, what are you going to wear? There are too many options. You just cannot handle this type of pressure.
6. You FINALLY start your workout.
Decisions have been made. Let’s do this.
7. Initial false confidence.
Wow! You already ran a half mile, you can totally do 8 miles today no problem!
8. Temporary regret.
You are sweating, your butt is starting to cramp up, and you wish you had just chosen to eat pizza instead of put yourself through this torture.
9. Remembering why you started.
Suddenly, like a shining light in the distance, you remember why you decided to do this. Your goal motivates you to finish your workout. You’re a boss a bitch who is going to finish what she started.
10. Victory.
You did it! Hey, maybe you should do this everyday… yeah, we’ll see.
