My life always seems to be one step ahead of me. So, I'm writing this as a self help guide. However, I thought it would be beneficial to help the rest of the world with the research I have done. Here are my steps on how to have your life together (or at least look like you do):
Step 1
Get all your workout clothes together and put them in a place that you can't easily get to. This helps with the, "I'm lazy and don't care what I look like today," mood in the morning. Keep your nice clothes easy to get to. Even if your hair and makeup aren't done, you'll look professional.
Step 2
Figure out where all your free time is going. Stop watching Netflix. Stop sleeping in till 11 o'clock. Your time is limited to 24 hours a day - don't waste them on things that won't help your future. Get a planner and keep track of when things are due and what deadlines you need to meet.
Step 3
Start working out at least 30 minutes of activity a day. Particularly, an activity that can make you more energetic, happy, and feel better about yourself. Usually, people who are behind in life or feel down are in need of activity to get the body going again. Go for a walk, to the gym, and/or a ride a bike. Whatever you do, do what you know will make you feel better, but don't overdo it.
Step 4
Watch what you eat. It's true what people say when they say you are what you eat. Eat food that makes you feel good. Eat food for the flavor not for how fast you can get it. Eat food that you took time to prepare, because you know where it came from. Eat food that makes you feel accomplished.
Step 5
Look at your life, and I mean, really look. What are you trying to accomplish today? This month? In ten years? Write that down. Work for that.
Step 6
Stop making excuses. Don't wait till tomorrow, because it never comes. Do this for yourself. Be the best you that you can be.
My life is crazy. I'm addicted to Netflix. I hate working out. Fast food is just so simple. My goals are like super hard, but not really, I'm just that lazy. I hate getting ready in the morning. So, I'm taking this advice. Hope it helps you too!
