Growing up in the suburbs of Boston taught me that during the winter season quality of clothes mattered more than their looks. Going to college in upstate New York, four hours from the Canadian border has taught me how to look fashionable while managing not getting frost bite. For winter jackets it mostly depends on the style rather than the brand. The best style is long coats that go past your thighs and have multiple layers. Brands like Northface, Canadian Goose, and Columbia have great coats. And don't forget a hood!
