For college students all across the country, the dreaded month of December is upon us. I'm, of course, not talking about going home for the holidays, but rather finals week. Instead of worrying about what presents to get, we worry about how we're going to memorize an entire semester's worth of biology before a cumulative final (this includes me). However, you can still somewhat get into the holiday spirit while stressing about how you're going to pass your finals.
1. Chug every holiday-flavored coffee from Starbucks.
I would personally recommend going for the Peppermint Mocha first and then a Gingerbread Latte (with more shots of espresso, of course). Oh, and hot chocolate doesn't count (unless you add espresso).
2. Write Holiday Cards (While Stress Eating)!
Stress-eating is the best medicine.
3. Decide to count down the days until break (until you start counting down the hours you have left before a final).
We can make it, even if it is very painful to count down the days.
4. Look at Christmas Trees... and totally forget about that seven-page final paper due tomorrow.
I sympathize with him so much.
5. Go shopping for presents even after an all-nighter!
We can still get in the spirit even if hallucinations are trying to wear you down!
6. Put lights up in your dorm, even if you've only had two hours of sleep in two days!
At least you tried?
7. Get excited to see some snowfall (while contemplating what grade you need to get on your final to pass)!
I'm pretty sure Charlie Brown is my spirit animal for the next couple of weeks.
8. Sing Christmas songs while someone is telling you how easy their finals were (without punching them)!
Please, tell us more about how you definitely got an A on your last final...
9. Whenever someone asks you about how your finals went, just do this:
Be like Will Smith during finals. Always be like Will Smith during finals.
