It has become the song for woman empowerment. Ariana takes her past relationships and learns from them to become a stronger woman. She says how she doesn't need these boys, but she's learned a lot about herself from them. She gets stronger after every relationship so she is saying "thank u, next" to every boy.

Alabama fans have taken this song and made it into our own motto for the season. We are saying that our team learns from every game they play and are ready for the next fight. Alabama has been unstoppable this season! Undefeated record! There have been some close calls, but that's just Nick Saban keeping us on our toes. Every single football team has come into a game saying they're going to beat our team. However, every single game ends up with Alabama winning. Every team wants the fight with Alabama, but we always come out on top. It has made lots of people mad to always see Alabama win, but it makes the college experience a hundred times better

But it was a hard game
