The NFL season is more than halfway over, and no one could have predicted the way the Eagles season has unfolded. They are amidst a seven-game win streak, their 8-1 record is good for tops in the NFL. Second-year starter Carson Wentz has thrown 23 TDs so far this season and is primed to take home MVP honors barring an injury or a monumental collapse. It's safe to say that the Eagles will make the playoffs, something they haven't done since 2013, a far cry from two years ago when they had the 8th overall pick (which was flipped in a trade to obtain the second overall pick that netted Wentz).
If there was one thing that the Eagles would look to improve, and that's being really nitpicky here, it's their running game. They've only scored seven rushing touchdowns all season, albeit seven more than the Dolphins scored all season to this point. Aside from that, the Eagles appear to be the total package with the sixth-best defense in the league (tied for 6th best in sacks with 25, tied 2nd best in INTs with 11), a trade for Jay Ajayi that bolsters their run game, and leading MVP candidate Carson Wentz leading the team.
Philly fans are hoping that the Eagles can bring home a Super Bowl title, something that hasn't been done in team history.
