Whether you have faced an injury of some sort or are battling an illness, you have probably tried to heal yourself using modern medicine. Although that is perfectly normal, it is not necessarily the best route tot take. From personal experience and acquired knowledge throughout several years, I have personally found relief from chronic pain from holistic healing methods. A bonus to taking the holistic path is that you are not adding any negative, unnatural medications or substances to your body. Learn how to heal yourself holistically, as well as gain peace of mind in the process.
Japanese Acupuncture
Known for its use of finer needles and gentle practice, Japanese Acupuncture has brought many people unbelievable relief. The needles are inserted just below the skin, so there is no pain involved whatsoever. Japanese Acupuncture has helped relieve patients of Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, arthritis, and anxiety. Overall, whether you have been severely injured or are just extremely stressed, Japanese Acupuncture is sure to give you necessary relief.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is, without-a-doubt, my favorite method of healing. It contains postures of stillness that are known to promote growth, enhance wellness, and clear energy blockages. It is designed to reduce pain from fascia-causing injuries, which is why I enjoy it so much. If you are lucky enough to find somewhat as skilled in it as I was, I promise you that you will never go a day without practicing it again.
Reiki
Designed to jumpstart healing and provide extreme relaxation, Reiki has been proven to heal the body from the inside out. Reiki healers channel direct energy from their hands to the patient’s meridian centers which contain major pathways and chakras. This particular treatment balances an individual’s yin and yang to smooth the flow of energy to promote healing where necessary.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a form of massage that is mainly performed on the hands, feet, and even ears. It focuses on pressure points that correspond to specific organs in the body to formulate healing in the surrounding area. The intention is to release energy blockages within the organ systems. People have sworn by the relief reflexology provides them.
Aromatherapy
One of the most natural holistic methods available is aromatherapy. It is the practice of using plant extracts to restore a person’s overall health. The amount of plants that are available to us is incredible. From lavender to pepper, to turmeric to orange, each oil is believed to have specific properties that attack certain problems or ailments. All living plants posses a certain energy that can aid in treating everything from inflammation to depression to cancer.
Crystal Therapy
Perhaps one of the most unique holistic therapies is known as Crystal Therapy. Crystals have been proven to contain energetic properties that have the ability to heal our bodies by correcting unbalances within. It can be done by simply placing the crystals directly over a trouble spot of the body, or by placing them on certain chakras or auric fields. The use of crystals has been proven to heal emotional problems, energy deficiencies, or physical ailments.
Whether you believe in holistic healing methods or not, someone somewhere does, and someone somewhere has been healed because of them. As someone who has experienced each individual practice for a number of years, I strongly believe in each and everyone of them. I urge you to try something different to get whatever relief you need. Healing is a trial-and-error process.
May you receive all the positive energy in the world, and may each energy bring you full and complete healing.
