As if time was on her side again, Hillary Clinton delivered a speech at the Truckee Meadows Community College in Nevada that left many in awe and it may have gathered her a few more votes for the long run…

As we continue to dive into the 2016 presidential race, we have come to see the twist and turns that come with running for president. Whether it’s the absurd comments made on Trump’s behalf concerning immigration, abortion and gun laws, or the uncertain look on Hillary’s face facing the email allegation scandal; the presidential campaign race is all but clean leading up to this point. But on Thursday, that all changed with the powerful speech made by Hillary, attacking trump on policy, connecting them with social media inputs, and reinforcing her spot on the democratic ticket.

It was the statement made on behalf of Hillary labeling Trump’s campaign as one built on “prejudice and paranoia” that stole the show, focusing on the claims made by Trump and using them to not only attack his reputation, but to reinforce her own. She noted within her speech, that Donald Trump has continued to provide Americans with a clear intention to do the complete opposite of making America great again with his sexist statements, his racist remarks, and his ability to stir up large amounts of crowds with his controversial speeches. She has also noted the seriousness of trump’s claims on African Americans, women and immigrants, comparing him to an organization called the “alt-right” movement in which is portrayed as a “white nationalist group” and is known for their strict policies which could be viewed as pro-white or anti-sexist.

Along with taking a stand for all people while bashing the racist comments made by Trump, she has also backed them up with proof from social media. Platforms such as twitter and Facebook became the weapon of choice, with Reno, Nevada being the battleground. She has made known that he has retweeted statements made by white supremacists, and has also made known the support he is getting from the likes of organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan, as well as the former chairman of Breitbart News, a person who now sits high as Trump’s campaign chief executive.

Hillary brought down the house with her strong presence and evidence to go along with the claims she was making. At one point during the speech, she read out strands of recent headlines belonging to the website of Breitbart News. One of those strands read: “Hoist it High and Proud: The Confederate Flag Proclaims and Glorious Heritage”. With significant evidence backing up her corner, she has not only flipped the script on Trump’s successful reign to obtain the republican nomination; but she has also prepared herself well and came back with a vengeance after the smoke cleared with the email scandal. She has turned all of Trump’s statements and controversial statuses posted online into a series of tools used to limit Trump’s power and redirect the Americans away from the happy-go-lucky promises into the cold hard truth. All eyes will be set for the coming weeks and the upcoming presidential debates as we might be witnessing the greatest debate of our time.

Win or lose, America will be either great again, or remain stagnant….

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
