Since marijuana is illegal in Tennessee, I decided to FaceTime a friend from California as he was freshly lit (to see the effects of the drug first-hand and if these effects were noticeable/impairing). Below is his and I's conversation.
How are you feeling?
I'm feeling good. It's like a tingly but more like silk rubbing across your skin. Like a silk bathrobe...naked.
What are you thinking about?
I was looking at my Chacos, and--I don't know--I like the toe straps, but I just don't like constriction. I don't like my big toe restricted, you know? Who even came up with these things...but d***, they're so durable.
If you get out of the shower clean, then how does your towel get dirty?
Once you dry off, the towel's wet. Wet things contain mold and bacteria. So over time, it gets used, you know? You wouldn't put an old pair of underwear on, you know? It's weird.
Why do you smoke? Do you think it should be legal? Why or why not?
I think it's like--you know the saying, um, "Drinking for social lubrication"? I feel like it's like that, but not so much with new people, but with everybody. But not so much the social aspect of it, but my group of friends--we share ideas. Weed gives me a chance to relax (because I don't have enough time to), especially between work, school, and these d*** dogs.
I think it should be, with the stipulations (e.g., over 21) because, all taxing aside, it would bring the United States more money. I feel like it is around the time people are entering college. I feel like that's a good way not to get addicted to over the counter medicines because college is stressful. I feel like if you smoke some stevita, in your own house, you're not hurting nobody, you're just trying to get an education. It might be a drug, but think of all the drugs out there. Just think of it as a medicine.
*lits second joint*
Nick my mouth is dry as f***.
How dry?
You know when you make instant potatoes, like your grandma made them, so it doesn't have any butter in it, so it's kinda dry, and you scoop it in your mouth. That's what my mouth feels like.
On a scale from one to Einstein's kite with the key, how high are you?
Right now?
No, tomorrow. Yes, now!
I'm like Britney Spears, before 2010 but after 2006. As loud as Martha Stewart on her first T.V. show. That b**** was lit.
So how does that compare to Einstein's kite with the key?
B****, because I'm gay and Martha Stewart is fabulous. She's a cooking genius.
So, how's driving and being in public high?
Driving is pretty cool. I don't have the anxiety of being in traffic (which is why traffic is so bad). I don't get like so high that I'd be uncontrollably laughing, I'd be like, "I'm in a serious situation and need to sober up." Public is a little different becuase, let's take it for when you go in public a little tipsy. People know you're tipsy, you stumble and s***, but the judgement is the worse part. If you put eye drops in and stuff, then there's not an issue. It also helps me not murder somebody when I'm at work because my job is stressful as f***! I'm kidding.
*laughs*
What do you want your last sentence to be?
I want my pug.
