I've learned the hard way that it does not work out in the end if you try to learn to deal with the way you are treated in a relationship. It is so important to know what you want and need in a significant other, and not to settle for anything less. Some girls are so determined to be in a relationship that they don't take the time to wait for the right guy. Here's something I think every girl needs to hear.

Wait for the guy who asks you about your past. This probably means he would like to be a big part in your future.

Wait for the guy who does anything to make you laugh. He loves your smile, and can't get enough of it.

Wait for the guy who looks at you like you put the stars in the sky. There's no better feeling than to be looked at like this.

Wait for the guy who is left speechless at the sight of you with no makeup on and in your sweatpants. You don't need to have layers of makeup on to look beautiful and he should remind you of this.

Wait for the guy wholistens to the same music you do. You may not realize it just yet, but chances are music taste is not the only thing you have in common.

Wait for the guy who motivates you to become the best version of you that you can be. The guy who wants you to do everything you've ever dreamed, and the guy who can help you get there.

Wait for the guy whoasks you to let him know when you're home safe.

Wait for the guy who would rather get to know your mind, rather than your body. This one is really important.

Wait for the guy who won't sleep until you resolve your issues in an argument. This guy will take the time to talk everything out. He also will make you feel like it is you two against the problem, not you against him.

Wait for the guy who will watch your favorite movie with you, no matter how many times you've seen it already.

Wait for the guy who will surprise you with flowers, just to see you smile.

Wait for the guy who will kiss you in the rain. It is just as magical as you see in the movies.

Wait for the guy who shows you he loves you in the little things that he says. Like, "Be careful," or "How was your day?" or "I'm here for you".

Wait for the guy who isn't afraid to take silly pictures with you because he knows you'll cherish them later.

Wait for the guy who wants to hold you in his arms and make you feel safe.

Wait for the guy who kisses your hand and your forehead.

Wait for the guy who kisses you like he'll never see you again (even if it's only a goodbye until tomorrow).

Wait for the guy who won't let go.

Wait for the guy who will never leave.

Wait for the guy who will love you for the princess that you are.

Wait for that guy.
