Buffalo heres to you, home of the rowdiest most dedicated fans, sponge candy, chicken wings, loganberry and so many other great things.

If you're a football or hockey fan you know that Buffalo has one of the most dedicated and rowdy fan bases around. Honestly, I don't think any city can compare when it comes to the things we Bills fans do. Whether its 80 degrees or -30 you know New Era stadium will be full of crazy drunk Bills fans. And I mean what better way to pregame for a football game than jumping off a car and breaking a table in the parking lot? And who cares if its -20 degrees outside men will insist on being shirtless. You could never be bored on a Sunday at the Ralph(I don't care that the name changed it will always be the Ralph). Not only are Bills fans crazy, they are also super dedicated. I mean how many years has it been since they were in the playoffs? Doesn't matter. It will be packed for every home game from September to December rain, shine, or blizzard. And Key Bank center although it was changed names so many times in my lifetime, one thing that never changes are the fans filling every seat in the building whether we have playoff hopes or not. OneBuffalo isn't just a saying here. These sports team have helped bring the whole community together because of one thing most Buffalonians have in common, the love for our home teams.

FOOD. Buffalo food compares to no other. I have yet to find a chicken wing anywhere that can even come close to wings in Buffalo. Also we have sponge candy, most other places don't even know what sponge candy is how sad is that! We also have Loganberry, yummmm. And have you ever had Lake Effect? Best ice cream with such unique flavors. If you live in buffalo and haven't tried it you need to stop reading and go get some, right now.

You can guarantee that a few feet of snow isn't stopping us from going to school or work and definitely isn't going to close school for us. We don't exactly have "normal" weather either. Monday it could be snowing and 10 degrees but no worries on wednesday it could be raining and 80 or sunny and 75 on Thursday.

Buffalo is also filled with so many amazing and giving people. During a snow storm neighbors will help shovel each other out, when theres a problem people band together to fix it.

Whether you live in Buffalo or have only visited you know theres no place like Buffalo. You can move away but your love for this city is irreplaceable. You'll never find a better place to live than here in Buffalo, NY.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
