I first saw this quote when I was reading a book written by Squire Rushnell. It was titled "When God Winks At You." He had put this quote in this book to give people hope when they needed it. Now, I would like to share my find and hopefully people can get something from it on a bad day.

The quote read:

"When someone's lost, aimless and adrift,

Take the time, give'em a lift.

Yesterday is history, tommorow is a mystery,

But today, you can be their gift."

This speaks volumes to me. It is good for everyone to keep locked in the back of their mind. It tells us that when we see someone down that it is our duty to lift them up. People just don't seem to comply as much these days. Forget your bad days and allow yourself to aid in making someone else's day.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
