A Heartfelt Open Letter To My College Best Friends

Hi guys,

You know who you are. The one's who have seen me through all of my ups and all of my downs. Thank you for sticking with me through the mean and the ugly. I can't thank you all enough for all of the advice and life talks we have, they mean the world to me, and I know they mean the world to you all to.

I'm so grateful to have all of you in my life and just walking distance from me. I don't know how I'd ever possibly pick out an outfit without being able to yell down the hall for help. And whenever I leave home it's nice knowing that I have amazing friends waiting for me at school.

Because of all of you, I'm able to survive my classes and stay motivated. Thanks for dragging me to the library, and entertaining me while were there, and for taking me to the gym and telling me to stop eating so much candy when I've gotten out of control.

I'm thankful to have all of you to be weird with and know that none of you will judge me for doing the robot in public or for getting up on any countertop I find. We always end up laughing about the most stupid things and I'm so thankful we are comfortable enough to say or do anything together.

Thanks for always being honest and for telling me when I'm being wrong or stupid. Especially because you all know I'd do the same to you. No matter how brutally honest I need to be.

I can't wait for the future because I know all of us will find success and no matter where that may be, we'll all be apart of each others lives.

I've been through some of the harder times in my life in college and without you all I'd be completely lost. Every day I feel more and more lucky to have people as amazing as you all in my life. Cheers to 20 more years of brunch and life talks.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
