When you’re becoming more successful in your career or building your brand, it’s tempting to pour all your energy into that and put your health on the backburner. Yet, neglecting your physical and mental health will cause problems for you sooner or later, and that’s why it’s much better to incorporate healthy habits into your routine. No matter how busy you’ve become, the following three tips will keep you in good shape.

Start Prepping Your Meals in Advance

Poor eating habits are a common problem for Millennials leading hectic lives. With little time to spare, you may find yourself buying unhealthy premade meals, takeout or fast food.

The best way to eat healthy without spending valuable time cooking every day is meal prepping. There are plenty of meals where you can prepare a large amount of food in advance, divide the food into individual servings and warm those servings up when you need them. With an hour or less of cooking, you’ll have enough meals for the next several days. If you don’t know much about preparing food—or don’t consider yourself talented in that regard—then you may benefit from a health or lifestyle makeover program that includes cooking demonstrations.

Incorporate Physical Activity into Your Daily Routine

You probably don’t want to spend time commuting to the gym and working out there every day. The good news is that there are plenty of ways you can stay active without derailing your day.

You could purchase some basic equipment that will let you exercise at home or in the office, such as resistance bands, or even stick to bodyweight exercises. Instead of exercising for an hour straight, do a set of pushups or sit-ups whenever you’ve got a minute. Another option is to start walking or riding a bike around town for trips you normally would have taken with your car.

Use Breaks to Recharge Mentally

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and if you work yourself too hard, you’ll eventually wear down. A well-timed break can be the perfect tool to stay focused during a long day.

When you’ve been busy working for a while, you can also consider going to a wellness retreat. These are an excellent way to destress and recharge. You’ll get back to work feeling refreshed, which will be great for your productivity.

Achieving more success in life is a fantastic accomplishment, especially when you’re early in your career. Just make sure you continue taking care of yourself so that you can stay healthy and keep progressing.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
