Some people feel that since I am college-aged, I would rather date an older, more sophisticated guy. While I consider myself to be mature, I do not feel that one’s maturity level is based upon age. My boyfriend is technically younger than me, and I feel that he knows things that I don’t and that he teaches me everyday. I am grateful for the lessons that I learn through him, and here are some reasons why having a boyfriend rocks
1. You get to experience all of the cool coming of age milestones before him and give him a sneak preview while he patiently waits and suffers.
2. When you play fight, you being older makes you automatically win.
3. You can pretend that you’re older and wiser even though you secretly know that the two don’t always go together.
4. You feel more like equals in the relationship because his age is not towering over yours.
5. People sometimes ask if you’re brother and sister when you go out in public.
6.He can learn from your mistakes in classes if you take a certain class before him.
7.He can learn from your mistakes in life and handle a situation differently than you did going forward.
8. He is willing to learn and grow in knowing that you are older than him.
9. He can have an even better 21st birthday than you did because you learned what to do and not to do from your birthday experience.
10. You and your guy can be in the same class year in spite of his age.
11.You can poke fun at home for his age.
12. It’s always funny when people are surprised to learn your age difference.
13.You’ve been in the world longer than him and have more life experience, so you can hold this on him.
14. You will maintain your youth with being with a younger guy.
15. Nobody will pay any attention to your baby face if you tell them that your boyfriend is younger.
16. You can say that you’re not an agist (someone who judges people based off age).
17. Your boyfriend is still young and has time to learn how to be an even better boyfriend. (Hehe, just kidding…kind of).
18. People may think that you’re younger if you’re walking around with a younger guy.
19. If it's a healthy relationship, your boyfriend will love you unconditionally regardless of age.
20. People may call me a cougar due to dating him.

Thank you, New York cutoff for allowing my boyfriend to be in my class year instead of the one below me. However, I am confident that we would have still met regardless. I love you long time, boyfriend, and I appreciate you allowing me to be forever young as long as I am with you.
