Having animals isn't always easy nor is it difficult, they make your life more interesting. Whether it be dogs, cats (or both), birds, bunnies, fish, or anything really your life now revolves more around them. Growing up we've always had an animal living with us. We've had dogs, cats, bird, some bunnies, and fish.

We've had more cats over anything else, but we've had dogs and fish as well. Having animals is always interesting they keep you on your feet, especially when you get a new one. Trust me, I know all about having pets when you bring a new one into the mix.

For a while, we just had one dog, Zack and one cat, Muffin. Then we had to put Zack down which left just Muffin. She enjoyed being by herself, but you can tell that at first, she did miss the company of having another animal to play with. However, that all changed once we brought home a new kitten, his name is Bagel. Bagel was a kitten with a lot of energy and curiosity. He had the energy that the house missed once Zack was gone and we were happy to get it back, but it did take a while for both Muffin and us to get used to again.

He would always run up to Muffin and "attack" her, he just wanted to play. However, Muffin wasn't really having it she just wanted to lay around and sleep. Bagel is so adventurous that he would bite and scratch anything, the amount of scares U have from him is crazy. It took her a while to get used to him being there, but she no longer cares she just lays around and gives glares whenever she can.

For the most part, Bagel and Muffin get along, Muffin has gotten used to him and they tend to stay away from each other, for the most part. Muffin still growls and hisses at him sometimes and if she's in the mood she will swat at him. Cats don't really need a reason they just have to be in the mood and for her, it's if he's anywhere near her in any way.

However, after maybe a year of having just Muffin and Bagel we bring home another kitten, her name's Bean. Seeing her explore and wonder where she is, it's cute and hilarious at times. Now, watching Muffin and Bagel with her is a little nerve racking, especially because she's so new and young. They were wary of her at first, not really sure how to approach her or what to do overall.

They weren't sure about her at first they both had different ways to "deal" with the new addition. Muffin just continued to lay around and not care, she would growl if Bean came near her or play with her tail. However, she wouldn't do anything other than growl and move her tail, but she would move it back to let her continue to play with it. She had her methods of getting her used to her I guess. Bagel, however, is a different story. With him he didn't know how to react, he would get close but he would hiss and run. At first, he didn't want anything to do with Bean. It was the total opposite in what Bean wanted, she wanted everything to do with him and Muffin.

While it's only been a few weeks since adding Bean to the family, she's been getting more curious and more adventurous. In all honesty, she is a mini Bagel. The way Bagel was towards Muffin and everything around him is the exact same way Bean towards them both and everything else. She loves to bite and scratch everything in sight.

Thankfully Bean has been able to do more house exploring as well as interact with Muffin and Bagel. They all have been getting along with each other more and seem to like each other more. Honestly, once she grows more I believe Bagel will love to be around her and play with her, whereas Muffin will continue not to care that much and just lay around.

Are animals a handful? Yes, they are. Are they stressful? Yes, they can be. Are they worth having? Yes, absolutely!

I can and will forever say that having a pet in your life is 100 % worth having, they are there for you no matter what. They bring unspeakable joy to your life that you can never express in full even if you try, I will forever be a dog person, but having cats in my life has been a blessing as well.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
