Okay, so it's no surprise that people love when other people cancel plans, but there are others who just don't want to make plans, to begin with. Here are some reasons to just hang with your pup instead.

1. He lets you drink as much as you want

Everyone has those friends who scream "let's do shots!" as soon as you show up to a place, and although you might be down for a wild night, sometimes that's just not what you wanna do. So, whether you want to drink a whole bottle of wine, or sip on water all night, your pup supports that.

2. Sweats

Hello - you don't need to get dressed up to hang with your pup.

3. Productivity

You can still watch TV, drink wine, and get 3 loads of laundry done on a night in. Can you do that at a bar? Nope. And even better, your pup is there cause he's down for whatever.

4. Or laziness

What dog isn't down for a night in on the couch? He's legit the best.

5. Food, food, and more food

There's nothing your pup loves more than food, and there's nothing YOU love more than not being judged by your dog for eating a whole thing of ice cream in one sitting.

6. Sappy Chick Flicks

Does your dog care if you watch The Wedding Planner on repeat? Nope - bring on the sappy movies!

7. Talking It Out

When you need someone to talk to, vent to, cry to, whatever, and know they you can trust them - your dog is actually the best. You can say anything you want to him and he's not telling a single soul! Late night chats with your pup can heal your soul.

Dogs = best cuddlers ever.

9. Perspective

Who cares if Becky from Marketing was nasty in an email - learn a lesson from your pup. He is legit happy as long as you're with him, and he's got food. That's the kind of life I want.

10. Catching Up On Sleep

All dogs love to sleep so there is absolutely no better way to catch up on your sleep than with your pup by your side. Be lazy bums - you'll both be happier on Monday.

You can literally do anything while staying in with your dog and he'll just be happy to be by your side.
