These 9 Facts Are Why I'd Hang Out With My Pet Over My Any Other Member Of Family

Let's face it, pets are just better than people. How many times has your dog told you that you were wrong? Have you ever had to fight with your cat over where you wanted to eat for dinner? I rest my case.

But seriously, our pets literally worship us. Okay, maybe not the cats, but they still rely on us, right?

1. Having a pet is kind of like a trial run to see if you're really ready for kids.

2. Your pet is literally a permanent cuddle buddy. Unless your pet is a goldfish, don't try to cuddle him.

3. Dogs don't judge you eating a whole roll of cookie dough. Cats are always down to binge-watch "The Bachelor" with you. What's better than that?

4. There's no one better to vent to, and that's technically not talking to yourself, but you still don't get backtalk.

5. They think you're pretty all the time.

6. They're always happy when you come home.

7. Pets are exactly what people should be but just, aren't.

8. It's hard to argue that pets aren't basically the best thing on the planet. They love unconditionally, just like we all should.

9. They're super cute, so that's pretty awesome too.

So, it's safe to say that pets are basically the bomb.com. What about if you don't have one, you ask? That's what your friends are for, their dogs won't judge you either. Don't have friends with pets? (Well, first of all, get new friends) Go to the animal shelter, there are plenty of animals in need of some loving and you just might find your new judgment-free, always available, cuddly, happy best friend.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
