I will argue with anyone and everyone about why the months of October-December are the best. I would have them year round if I could, and if you don't agree then you're wrong.

1. Halloween

Does Halloween even need an explanation? The whole month of October is filled with scary movies, jack-o-lanterns and more festive things. Not to mention getting dressed up for all of Halloweekend or the weekend prior and no one judges you! What a fun holiday right??

2. Scary movies

I freaking love scary movies, but I feel like watching them in October/around Halloween time makes them that much more scary.

3. The weather

The leaves start to change colors and the weather starts to get a little cooler. And you know what colder weather means?...

4. CUTE FALL CLOTHES

The scarves, sweaters, leggings and boots take over campus, and I couldn't be more excited about it. I love getting dressed up in fall clothes cause it looks like you tried but really you just needed to throw on something that would keep you warm.

5. Pumpkin spice everything

I bet Starbucks has never been more thankful for basics than they are during the months of October-December.

6. Thanksgiving

If there's something I love more than fall clothes and watching scary movies, it's food. And guess what? The best food holiday takes place right in the heart of this time frame!! Thanksgiving is great and the food is great and family time is great and it's all around just great.

7. BLACK FRIDAY

What better way to celebrate the fact you ate so much food you can only fit into sweatpants than fighting people for sales at midnight? That's right, NOTHING!

8. Christmas

I could relive Christmas everyday if I wanted. Christmas means eggnog, pretty lights, Christmas movies and more and I love every single minute of it.

9. Christmas Music

If you're anything like me, you started listening to Christmas music in like, I don't know, March. Now it's just acceptable and people are board with it too

10. Breaks from school


In college we get a few days for fall break, a few days for Thanksgiving and then a whole month of for Christmas. It's so incredibly nice to get that much of a break from school and well if you're in high school...I remember how nice those two weeks were once upon a time.

11. Family time

I know for me, I don't really get to see my family all that often. I have family that live in two different states, so it's nice to split up the holidays and breaks every now and then to see them
