Halloween...the one day of the year that you can be ANYTHING or ANYONE you wish. Why settle for the typical costumes that more and more people try to recreate each year?
1. Police Officer
Let's be honest, at one point we've all thought about this very overdone costume. It's easy to recreate and still looks hot, but at every Halloween party, there are always at least two different versions.
2. The Playboy Bunny/ Sexy Bunny
Even though this was the fabulous Elle Woods' outfit of choice, that doesn't mean you have to try it out again. Odds are you won't look twice as hot as she did.
3. Sexy Cat
Probably the easiest and cheapest costume there is and excuse my wording but BASIC, too. Throw on your go-to most likely over-worn, see-through black leggings, a too small/ low cut black tank and some ears from the dollar store and BOOM: A costume.
4. Angel/Devil
The costume that you think, "OMG let's go as an angel and devil, it describes our personalities so well." I can guarentee there are many other costumes that describe you just as well.
5. Disney Princess
I can't even hate on this one as much as others because I was the Little Mermaid last year....BUT come on, way to ruin your childhood with making it as skimpy as possible. There are only so many Disney princess' you can portray and they are usually done in a group as it is. Last year, girls thought they were being original dressing up as the new princess Elsa, from Disney's Frozen...unfortunately, everyone was thinking the same thing.
Changing things up a bit. I have to be fair and also talk about overdone men's costumes.
6. Construction Worker
I can't even think of the amount of times I have gone out and seen a thrown together/last minute construction worker costume. Jean's, a hat, and vest is all it takes.
7. Doctor
I understand there are many drunk college guys who think it's funny to be a doctor or dare I say gynecologist running around from party to party...but like you would tell us... STOP being so generic/basic. Plus, you will never look like McDreamy or McSteamy.
8. Cowboy
Flannel, Jean's, cowboy hat and, if they're REALLY prepared, a pair of cowboy boots...need I say more?
9. Clark Kent
This is for all of the guys out there who think they are being original. Well...sorry guys, but every Halloween I see at least a few men dressed up as this, sporting fake glasses, a superman shirt and button up.
10. Pimp
First off...why would you even want to be this one day of the year? No, girls will think you're hot or funny...most likely kinda dumb looking, actually. In my own experience, I've found that the one that dresses up as a pimp and craves attention is usually the most drunk idiot.

11. Danny and Sandy
The movie, Grease came out 37 years ago and a plethora of couples each year show it's not going out of style as a costume anytime soon. Even though I must agree Danny and Sandy are two iconic movie characters..."You better shape up" and give other couples in history a chance!
