I know what a lot of you might be thinking: "Lipstick? Really?" Well, you would be surprised what amazing things these colors can do to your look and confidence.

It takes a brave soul to wear some of the outrageous colors I’ve collected over the years, but I think anyone can pull them off with the right amount of self confidence.

The first color I got, which got me hooked on lipstick, was Saint Germain. When applied, it is a bright pink/purple that is subtle but not subtle enough to avoid grabbing everyone's attention in the room. This color is an amplified lipstick so it goes on easily but has a hard time staying on, so make sure you keep it on you at all times.

The second color was Candy Yum-Yum. How ridiculous does that sound? Well the color is pretty ridiculous too. I wore this color throughout all of my sorority's recruitment and was remembered as the girl who wore bright pink lipstick by the end. This lipstick is a matte so it goes on pretty dry. Make sure your exfoliate and moisturize before applying.

The third color I purchased was Rebel. To this day, Rebel is still one of my favorite colors in the winter. It is a maroon-like purple and I just love the way it goes on. This color will get anyone's attention and makes you feel gorgeous. Rebel is a satin, so it goes on smooth and stays on well, another reason why it is my favorite.

Next is Pretty Please, a kind of suggestive lipstick but good when you’re not trying to stand out too much. This color is good for everyday use and very subtle. This color is a lustre, so it applies glossy and depending on how you apply it, it can look completely different with the amount you put on.

Then there was Brave. This color is well known as one of the colors Kylie Jenner regularly wears. That should not be the reason you purchase Brave because it will not make your lips look like hers. The color is my favorite when it comes to everyday use. If none of my other colors go with my outfit, Brave gets it’s time to shine. Brave is a satin, so it goes on like Rebel (another reason it’s at the top of my list).

Flamingo. This color is a lustre, so I have the same problems as Pretty Please. When applied, it’s hard for the color to show. It is a gorgeous coral lipstick, that being said, it is coral. Make sure you try it on before purchasing it because certain skin tones do not compliment coral.

Heroine is my bold statement lipstick. This color is amazing. It is a matte, so goes on and stays on. It’s bright, it’s fun and it will grab everyones attention. Don’t knock it until you try it.

Finally there is MAC Red, the color of all colors. If you ever own Mac Lipstick, you should eventually own MAC Red. I personally have a hard time finding a red that looks good with my skin and hair, but I have never seen MAC Red look bad on anyone. I would suggest getting it sooner than I did. It is a satin (if you can’t see the pattern), so I love it. It goes on and stays on and doesn’t dry out your lips.

Last but most certainly not least is Pink Plaid, also another one of Kylie Jenner's colors. It's a nice pink for everyday wear. Not only does it go with everything but it compliments most skins tones. It is a matte, so it goes on dry but stays on.

If you’re thinking right now, “I would never wear any of these colors,” think again. Wearing lipstick is all about your attitude. If you tell yourself you can’t wear that color, then you’re completely right. Although, if you decide to be brave and take a chance, you will be amazed by the impact these colors will have on your life. Just close your eyes and pick one.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
