Warning: this review contains spoilers.

On Thursday, September 22, our beloved Grey's Anatomy premiered its 13th season on ABC. In case you forgot, season 12 ended with Andrew DeLuca being assaulted by Alex Karev, Jo Wilson - Karev's girlfriend - explained why she wouldn't marry him, and Maggie Pierce just admitted to Meredith Grey that she liked the guy Meredith has been sleeping with, Nathan Riggs. Now, I know that's a lot of information to handle, especially if you're behind on "Grey's" or can't remember the doctors' first names. Oh-- Owen Hunt and Amelia Shepherd finally got married.

Season 13 starts off at the wedding reception where Riggs is trying to dance with Meredith and Maggie wanting to dance with Riggs. I know, it's a mess. Meredith brings Riggs outside to tell him why they can't see each other anymore when she gets a call from Jo who is hysterically crying. Honestly, the only thing I remembered from the season 12 finale was Karev beating DeLuca up, so that's all I was really waiting on. And boy was it rough to see him in the hospital. I mean, his nose was broken, he might be blind in one eye, and his arm was in a sling. For a while, Meredith kept it a secret that it was Karev who assaulted DeLuca so that he could figure out what to do. When he tried to speak to DeLuca, Deluca practically had a panic attack - which definitely makes sense. Meredith ends up telling Chief Miranda Bailey that it was Karev, but Karev had turned himself in and was being read his rights by the time Bailey went to tell the officers.

On the happier side of things, divorced couple April Kepner and Jackson Avery finally had a healthy baby girl! Harriet Kepner-Avery was actually born on the second to last episode in Meredith's house thanks to Bailey's husband, Ben Warren, who safely delivered her baby. Seeing the three of them together - and Jackson's mother Catherine - was so sweet. I'm glad we had something good this episode.

The third and final plot of the episode was Riggs showing up at Meredith's house and her telling him that they can't see each other anymore. Meredith, the good sister that she is, doesn't even tell Riggs about Maggie's crush on him. Instead, she just says that she doesn't feel the same way that he does, which is totally a lie. Anyone and everyone can see that. And Riggs was definitely surprised by what she said and honestly probably doesn't believe her.

Will the next episode pick up with Karev being bailed out of jail by Meredith? (The ending scene was Meredith visiting Karev in jail, but it's not clear on whether she bailed him out or not.) DeLuca is definitely pressing charges, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out over the season - I will be so upset if Karev leaves the show. Will Riggs still try to keep seeing Meredith? Will April and Jackson end up back together now that they have a child together? And what ever happened with the lawsuit that Catherine was filing? Will Amelia and Owen actually stay together now that they're married? This is definitely going to be a heck of a season - creator Shonda Rhimes knows what she's doing!

For at least the next six weeks we will be able to watch "Grey's" on ABC at 8 pm.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
