Every girl after having watched "Gossip Girl" wants to be like Serena Van Der Woodsen. I mean, I don't see how you wouldn't want to be like her. She has perfect hair, perfect clothes...oh and of course the perfect life in New York. Ever wanted to dress like her too?

1. Cute Beanie.

Who doesn't love beanies in the fall? These serve two purposes, they are warm and cute! Here Serena is sporting an adorable burnt orange beanie, perfect for any cold fall occasion. You can shop this look here.

2. Blanket Scarf.

Blanket scarfs are definitely my go-to in the fall! Scarves like these can definitely add so much to an outfit with minimal effort.

Especially, living in Wisconsin like I do. The fall can become VERY cold. So, a cute blazer or coat can really spruce up your outfit while still staying warm.

4. Knee High Boots.

I still really need to invest in a pair of these. They are ADORABLE and so sassy.

Pleated pants are coming back and I am all for it! Super comfy, but adds so much to an outfit.

Denim jackets have always been a favorite of mine. They go with basically everything and can be worn up or down. This is basically a closet essential if you ask me.

10. Yellow Statement Piece

I honestly used to hate the color yellow, but it's coming back and I am kinda loving it. It is a perfect accent color to make your outfit pop and stand out. Here's a yellow blouse that's definitely on trend.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time.
