GOP Are Dazed and Confused Over Trump

Much like most people when they look at Trump's hair, the GOP is left confused and unsure how to respond to Trump as a candidate.

GOP Are Dazed and Confused Over Trump

Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President close to a month ago and has managed to stay in the media ever since. Much like something out of a movie, Trump announced from his own "Trump Tower", in an act that even Lex Luther would be proud of, claiming to "Make America great again", if you are a white male.

Trump has made several comments that has made many Americans upset with him, including his notorious comments regarding Mexicans in America. Trump claimed "[Mexico] are sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and their rapists." Trump later went on to ensure NBC News in an interview that he will win the Latino vote, claiming that he "has a great relationship with the Mexican people."

Since his comments many organizations have begun public shaming Trump, including NBC who has cancelled his reality TV Show "The Apprentice". Negative responses are not limited to liberal groups, such as ACLU, but even the GOP and RNC has spoken out against Trump, although their responses have been lukewarm at best.

Several fellow GOP candidates have spoken out against Trump and his stance on Mexicans. Marco Rubio, a fellow republican vying for the Presidential nomination, has stepped forward and condemned Trump, stating "Trump’s comments are not just offensive and inaccurate, but also divisive." Rick Perry voiced a similar concern and went as far as to state "I think that was a huge error on his part and, number one, it’s wrong." Governor Jeb Bush stated, "I don’t agree with him. I think he’s wrong. It’s pretty simple.”

There has also been a negative response from the RNC and its sponsors. The RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus, called Trump's comments "unhelpful". Meanwhile, GOP donors have started to put pressure on the RNC to stop Trump, namely John Jordan who wants to start a petition against Trump.

However, there is a definite push within the GOP to back Trump's statements in an act of solidarity within the party. Senator Ted Cruz stated that he not only liked Trump but that he also agreed with some of his policies regarding immigration. Governor Chris Christie also backed Trump stating that he was a "good guy" when asked whether or not he believed Trump's comments were hurtful.

Trump has actually been polling relatively well in spite of large protests against his latest comments. The GOP appears to have some pretty mixed responses, as they unsure whether or not to say anything and remain as a unified body or to speak out against Trump.

Trump has certainly thrown a wrench into Republican plans for 2016, which have already become comical with fourteen candidates currently in the running.

In Trump's comb over, we don't trust.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
