The mind of a straight male seems to be ever so simple, and extremely less complex than a female. Straight boys are constantly complaining that girls are “too complicated” or even “crazy.” Well, fear no more. Here is a helpful guide in the simplest terms I could conjure up.
1. Communication
This is the absolute number one concept for all girls. Do not play games, do not mislead, do not assume, and do not think she knows what you’re thinking. If she’s doing something you don’t like, tell her. If you don’t fancy her anymore, tell her. If you want to hang out with your bros instead, tell her. It is best to tell her what you’re thinking and feeling. You won’t regret it. Girls like to talk about their feelings.
2. Honesty
Communication leads into honesty. Simply don’t lie. If you start lying from the beginning, the odds are most likely not going to end in your favor.
3. Listen
50 percent of conversations involve listening. Take what she says and remember it. It’s also really cute when a guy remembers something a girl says. If you’re out and about and see something that reminds you of her, or if you see an inside joke out in public, snap a pic and send it to her. It shows that you actually listen and care about what she has to say.
4. Mind Games
I wouldn’t necessarily say that all girls are set out to play games. However, the tricky part is that most girls want you to know things without having to tell you. We feel like we shouldn’t have to tell you certain things, if you liked us you would know us well enough. This seems like a double standard to the whole communication process, but I assure you most girls are like this. I can’t really explain this one, this is just how it is.
5. Friendly or Flirting?
Usually if a girl really likes you, you will know. For example, if you ask her to hang out and she keeps denying or making up excuses then she probably doesn’t want to see you. If, however, the girl is honestly busy she will make an effort to work out an alternate time to actually see you.
6. The Past Is Still Relevant
The boy before you may have caused some major damage. Her trust may be completely distorted from all of the f*ckboys from the past. Keep this in mind. I know it may not makes sense to you, but she needs time and patience if this is the case.
7. Nice Guys, We Need You
OK, girls do like the ‘bad boys.’ Girls like the boys with some issues, but that only lasts for so long. After the bad boy phase, a girl needs that nice boy to take home to her parents.
8. Compliments
Any boy can tell her she is beautiful a million times a day, but if it doesn’t come from the mouth she wishes to hear it from, then it doesn’t really matter.
