Girl Code is not just what ladies live and breathe by, but it's also a popular show on MTV. It is hilarious, but also accurate. Any lady who watches the show will at some point relate exactly to what they are saying. Here are just a few moments that are sure to sum up your life.

1. On purses

Women and their purses literally go hand in hand. We all know the type that walks out of the house with their purse the size of a luggage bag who has to dig through a hundred different items just to find her keys. Half the stuff in a purse is old receipts, pens, lip gloss, glasses, and whatever else can be fit in there. Although, purses are excellent for sneaking in snacks to the movies!

2. On body shaming

3. On wine

We all know wine goes great with food, but when it comes to our emotions there is no better substitute. Even if it taste horrible!

4. Going on a "break" from your relationship

Clearly Ross and Rachel from Friends taught us there was no such thing as a "break". It is true, we throw that word around to make ourselves feel like there is some hope left, but it is a temporary thing that leads right to the breakup.

5. On why you're still single

6. On the struggles of dieting

Dieting is the worst, especially since all the bad foods out there taste so good. How is anyone expected to lose weight when there is pizza in this world!

7. Listening to somebody talk about dieting

We all know that one friend who goes on and on about eating healthy, dieting, and exercising. We just roll our eyes and keep going with our juicy hamburger!

8. On having a crush

We have all had a crush before, be it in middle school or in your current situation. The most important thing is to maintain that crush so that it does not turn into an obsession.

9. The truth about taking a photo

Snapchat and Instagram have become a girls best friend with all their filters. From the dog filter to the 15 other options to slide through on Insta, it's no wonder why girls are posting a ton of selfies these days, because obviously we look better!

10. On self-esteem

Self-esteem is like a roller coaster for women, sometimes it's high, sometimes its low, but all the time we are screaming! Don't beat yourself, we are all beautiful!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
