It is finally winter break! You get to go home after being away for so long, but what happens when you are the first one home? All your old friends are still going through finals and here you are, all alone. Here the 5 stages of being home before your friends.

1. When you get home and realize you don't have anyone to hang out with.

Does this mean I'm going to have to go to chipotle alone???

2. You end up sleeping a lot, hoping it will make time go quicker.

Wake me up when my friends are back.

3. Then you see them Snapchatting their college friends and you're instantly jealous.

CAN YOU COME HOME NOW!!!! STOP HANGING OUT WITH THEM!

4. When you are FaceTiming and they hang up because apparently they still have "work to do."

Honestly, that's just rude. Grades aren't THAT important.

5. But its worth the wait.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
