For those of you who are familiar with the hit HBO television series, Sex and the City, you know that apart from the hectic New York City life and wild, frequent romantic rendezvous, the show focuses a lot on friendship and the value of it.
From the title of the show you wouldn't dare to make that assumption, but the series follows four naturally independent women who share a past, present, and future with one another. Through a whirlwind of break-ups, fashion mishaps, deaths, cancer, and a relocation to a borough besides Manhattan, the four women remain friends and grow even closer. Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha, and Carrie are all unique in their own ways.
Lifestyle choices, occupations, taste in men, and fashion styles are just to name a few things that set them apart from each other. You wouldn't imagine that they would be as close as they are.

3. They especially encourage gossip about yourself. Knowing the person first hand always makes it more juicer. And a friend never judges.
4. But they always set you straight if you're acting stupid and making poor choices. Even if the truth is hard to say, they know you have to hear it.
5. Speaking of which, they are always down to chat it up anywhere. Call them in the early A.M., these best friends are there for you 24/7.
6. They protect you from those who break your heart.
7. And they have great comebacks every time they run into any of your ex's.

9. You plan your outfits together and stick by each other's sides at parties and clubs.
