To the people I can’t imagine life without,
I truly don’t know where I would be without you guys. Although joining the same sorority may have introduced us, I’m still unsure as to when exactly we all became so close. I don’t think I could express enough how thankful I am to have met you, and now be able to call you my best friends.
When stressful times approach I can always count on you all to keep me grounded. When I’m overwhelmed and talk of fleeing the country or dropping out of school is mentioned to avoid an upcoming test or issue in my life, thank you for reminding me that life goes on... and that moving to Canada is most definitely not the solution.
We’ve seen each other at our best and our worst, and you’ve been there to wipe my tears and tell me that it will get better when things just seem to be falling apart, and I can’t express how much it means to me. College is a time where we all are still trying to find ourselves and figure out life, and you all have shown nothing but love and support in every decision I make; I’m a better person because of each of you.
Despite the differences in each of our personalities, we all come together to make one dysfunctional group of people who just happen to be inseparable, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. In the past few months, in which we have become so close, you have given me some memories I will never forget. They say college will be some of the best years of your life, and at first I found that hard to believe. Thanks to the five of you I now know this to be true. Whether we’re having family dinners, talking for hours about absolutely nothing, or going on questionable adventures, I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
Although college is just four years I know we will all remain close for years to come, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us.
Love,
Your forever friend
